Openreach will be working on the A525 Newcastle Road, near to TT Pumps on 24-28 August 2026 (9.30am - 3.30pm).
Our primary role is to provide a local democratic voice for the people of the Parish of Woore. We aim to support and contribute towards the economic and social life of the community, and to improve the quality and safety of life of local residents by providing services efficiently, effectively, and with the best value for money. The council will conduct its business openly and will consult widely with all concerned.
Openreach will be working on the A525 Newcastle Road, near to TT Pumps on 24-28 August 2026 (9.30am - 3.30pm).
As of 10th August 2026 the footpath is now open.
A vacancy has occurred for a Clerk/Responsible Finance Officer to commence as soon as possible, ideally by 1st September 2026.
An appeal has been made to the Secretary of State against the decision of Shropshire Council to refuse planning permission for this proposal. Woore Parish Council encourage residents who wish to comment to please do so before the 10th July 2026 deadline.
