Michael Cowey has been appointed to continue as the Parish Council's Chairman from May 2023.

The Parish Council has also appointed Michael Cowey as one of its two representatives on Shropshire Council's Local Joint Committee for the north of Shropshire. Michael Cowey is also one of two representatives appointed as a footpath and tree warden for the Parish and one of two representatives for Woore United Charities. Michael Cowey is a member of the Woore Parish Council working party for HS2 and Shropshire Council Remote meetings.
